There are 2 keys to realising this goal.
- Having a clear, sound and comprehensive picture of
child development - The child must be in a position to meet the challenges that come with the curriculum. Curriculum that is developmentally inappropriate fails to educate and, in fact, harms the child. - The curriculum must meet the
developmental readiness of the child. In doing so, it must nurture the faculties that blossom at each age/stage of development

TATVA’s Waldorf curriculum is broad and comprehensive. It is structured across three developmental phases of childhood—birth to 7 years old, 7 to 14 years old, and 14 to 21 years old. We understand these phases as the
Through steadily evolving experiences provided by a developmentally appropriate curriculum, our children students cultivate their intellectual, emotional, physical and spiritual capacities to be individuals certain of their paths and to be of service to the world.

Teachers at TATVA are dedicated to generating an inner enthusiasm for learning within every child. This eliminates the need for competitive testing, academic placement, and behavioural rewards to motivate learning, allowing motivation to arise from within. All academic classes are infused with art to encourage creative thinking, inspire self-discipline, and deepen the students' understanding of subject matter. Subjects such as painting, drawing, drama, chorus, and movement support the academic lessons while practical arts—weaving, woodwork, and metal work—foster self-reliance and a genuine engagement with the world.
